PEDAGOGICAL DESIGN
The curriculum is the structured scheme of compulsory and fundamental areas and optional areas with their respective subjects that are part of the curriculum of educational establishments. The curriculum must contain at least the following aspects:
a) The intention and identification of the contents, themes and problems of each area, indicating the corresponding pedagogical activities.
(b) The distribution of time and sequences of the educational process, indicating in which grade and period the different activities will be carried out.
(c) The achievements, competencies and knowledge that students must achieve and acquire at the end of each period of the school year, in each area and grade, as defined in the institutional educational project (PEI) within the framework of the curricular technical standards issued by the Ministry of National Education. It will also include criteria and procedures for assessing learners' learning, performance and capacity building.
(d) The general design of special support plans for students with difficulties in their learning process.
e) The methodology applicable to each of the areas, indicating the use of teaching materials, school textbooks, laboratories, audiovisual aids, educational informatics or any other means that guide support the pedagogical action.
(f) Performance indicators and quality targets to enable institutional self-evaluation to be carried out.
