WHAT IS SCHOOL GOVERNMENT?

It is a line of action of the Democracy project that involves the entire educational community in order to guide, direct and administer the school and structure the bases on which the exercise of democracy moves.

 

WHY IS SCHOOL GOVERNMENT NECESSARY?

 

It balances the daily order of the educational community as it turns it into an active and critical agent forging civic and democratic customs, in addition to giving it the opportunity to give its opinion in the student development process.

The General Education Law in its article 142 establishes: Formation of the SCHOOL GOVERNMENT. Each educational establishment in the State will have a school government made up of the rector, the board of directors, the academic council and the student council.

 

WHO MAKES UP THE SCHOOL GOVERNMENT?

 

  • The rector.

  • The Board of Directors.

  • The Academic Council.

  • The student council.
