PARENTS' ASSEMBLY II

On March 8 at the facilities of the C.I.C. (Center for Citizen Integration) of the municipality of Pandi, Cundinamarca, the second Assembly of Parents began, with the assistance of the Municipal Administration headed by Mr. Mayor Carlos Prieto, Councilor Álvaro Murillo, Personería Jerónimo Cuellar, Association of Parents, and the delegate of the Attorney General's Office, Martín Barbosa.

At the beginning of this assembly, on March 8, the women were commemorated by Professor Doris Castiblanco from the Social Area.

On the part of the Parents' Association, whose spokesperson on this occasion was José Luis Castro, who invited parents to join the association and election of president and prosecutor, also commenting on his desire to improve the process of school feeding and control of this area, as well as the teaching staff.

From the municipal administration, the mayor informs that from March 18 it is very possible that school transport will begin and taking into account the resources, at some point a minimum contribution from parents will be requested; On behalf of the City Council, he released the report of the budget for school transportation for this year; As a special guest on behalf of the mayor's office, the delegate of the prosecutor's office Martín Barbosa was present, who provided a small training in a masterful way.

The space was also provided for citizens to clarify their doubts, for example, by the student comptroller William Maza, the problem of the roads in front of the school was indicated, as well as the community had concerns about school transportation.

In the school facilities, as part of the project SCHOOL FOR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS led by the teacher Jesús Gutiérrez, workshops were held focused on the line of action: Knowledge of the law on childhood and adolescence, the normative and constitutional framework for the guarantee of the rights of children and adolescents
